Job description, responsibilities and duties

• Manage customer forecast analysis process centrally and in collaboration with Operating Business Units’ (OBUs)
• Facilitate and own the global S&OP process, balancing demand and supply, meeting customer service level and delivery performance expectations as well as optimizing inventories and capacity utilization
• Research demand drivers, review sales trends and evaluate forecast results in collaboration with Business (sales org.)
• Review material and manufacturing capabilities and identify supply and demand issues in collaboration with Sourcing, Inbound Supply Chain and Operations / OBUs
• Develop and monitor S&OP process control indicators,
• Continuously improve S&OP process
• Build and maintain relationships with all stakeholders and present proposals for decision making
• Manage employee performance through clear communication, establishment and follow-up of SMART targets and development of the competences in the team (if applicable)
• Demand/Forecast accuracy
• Inventory levels and turns
• Cash flow / NWC
• Delivery performance
• Customer satisfaction

Personality requirements and skills

• Ideally master’s degree in engineering or supply chain management (beneficial, or ideal candidate)
• Strong experience with implementation and facilitation of S&OP/IBP processes
• Experienced professional in demand planning
• Excellent numerical skills and statistical forecasting experience
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Experience from a multicultural environment
• Flexibility and willingness for global business travel
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
